Episode 1- Jack Billings (’13)

In this episode of The OSCA Podcast, hosts Lachie Strathmore (’15) and Scott Montgomery (’85) sit down with Jack Billings (’13).

Jack Billings is a professional AFL player for St Kilda. Since making his debut in 2014, Jack has played over 100 AFL matches, and is now part of the leadership group at the club. In this episode, we discuss the events on draft night, the transition to elite level footy, off-field professionalism, dealing with media, the interrupted season of 2020, and his life outside AFL.

Episode 2- Tom Anderson (’15)

In this episode of The OSCA Podcast, hosts Lachie Strathmore (’15) and Scott Montgomery (’85) sit down with Tom Anderson (’15).

Tom Anderson (‘15) completed a science degree at the University of Melbourne, and now works in the Climate Change and Sustainability team at Ernst and Young. Since finishing school, he has done a lot of travelling, and in this episode, we explore his experiences of travel – from budgeting and planning, to recounting some stories from his 7 month trip to America in 2019.

Episode 3- Charlie Hocking (’18)

In this episode of The OSCA Podcast, hosts Lachie Strathmore (’15) and Scott Montgomery (’85) sit down with Charlie Hocking (’18).

Charlie Hocking (‘18) is studying Commerce at Melbourne University, and spent his first 2 years of uni living on campus at Queens College. In this episode, we discuss what life at college looks like – the application process, the day to day lifestyle and the activities and support offered. Charlie is also a huge mental health advocate, and we cover some of the initiatives he has launched, and how to promote active and positive mental health.
