About the Club

The Old Scotch Cricket Club was formed in 1949 and competes in the Melbourne Cricket Club Club XI competition. The Club has won 11 premierships, in 1963/1964, 1972/1973, 1980/1981, 1997/1998, 1998/1999, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2011/12, 2015/16 and most recently in 2019/20.

The club presently fields two teams in the Melbourne Cricket Club Club XI competition. Training is at 6.00pm on Thursday evenings from September through until March on the Meares Oval nets at Scotch. All cricketers are welcome!

Matches are played from October until March on the Meares Oval at Scotch and other school ground venues across Melbourne. Social members are also welcomed down to watch the action unfold.
