Launched in 2014, the Old Scotch Basketball Club is open to anyone who has a passion for basketball. The Club currently has one team that plays in a highly competitive league and is looking to expand with more casual teams.
The Club currently plays in the Melbourne Metropolitan Basketball League (MMBL) with games played on Wednesday nights, usually at Waverley Basketball Stadium. The league markets itself as a highly skilled competition without the regulations of representative basketball. As such, it attracts players and teams from NBL1/Big V/Youth League.
