About the Club
Koomerang Ski Club was founded in 1957 by a group including students, parents, teachers and Old Boys of Scotch College, Melbourne. A lodge was built at Mt Buller, followed by the construction of a lodge at Thredbo in 1965, the purchase of two apartments at Falls Creek in 1973 and the purchase of a small lodge at Mt Hotham in 1982.
The club now has around 610 members.
To be eligible for Full membership you must be an Old Boy of Scotch College, Melbourne or meet other criteria shown in “Club Overview – Classes of Membership” on the Koomerang web site www.koomerang.com.au. To be eligible for Junior membership you must be a current student of Scotch College, Melbourne, or a child of a current Full member.
