We are delighted to welcome former Wallaby and Old Scotch Collegian Ewen McKenzie as a special guest at the Scotch Rugby Annual Lunch 2026.
A product of Scotch College, where he captained the 1st XV and built his reputation as a formidable forward, Ewen went on to enjoy an outstanding international career. He earned 51 Test caps for the Wallabies and was a key member of Australia’s 1991 Rugby World Cup–winning team.
Following his distinguished playing career, Ewen transitioned to coaching at the highest level, leading teams including the NSW Waratahs and Queensland Reds, and serving as Head Coach of the Wallabies from 2013–2014.
A proud Old Scotch Collegian, Ewen’s journey from the school’s 1st XV to the pinnacle of world rugby is a story of leadership, resilience and excellence. He brings a wealth of insight from both playing and coaching at the elite level and will provide a compelling perspective on the modern game.
