Scotch College students have gained valuable insight into life beyond school through the 2026 Future Pathways program, supported by OSCA. The initiative brings together Old Boys and members of the wider Scotch Family who volunteer their time as mentors, speakers, panellists and presenters, helping students explore a diverse range of future career options.

This week, a panel of Young Old Boys spoke with Year 12 students, sharing candid reflections on their career journeys, including the challenges and achievements they have experienced since leaving Scotch. The school also hosted the 2026 Careers Convention, welcoming Year 10, 11 and 12 students to engage with professionals from across a broad range of industries and pathways. The event offered students first-hand insights into the professional world, along with opportunities to ask questions, gain practical advice and broaden their understanding of possible career directions.

The school extends its sincere thanks to the Old Boys who generously took time out of their busy schedules to return to campus and support the next generation. Their perspectives and experiences proved invaluable, providing students with inspiration, clarity and confidence as they consider their post-school pathways.

Old Boys interested in contributing to the Future Pathways Careers Program at Scotch are encouraged to get involved. It is a rewarding opportunity to give back to the school, share professional expertise and inspire students as they explore their future possibilities.
