In this episode of The OSCA Podcast, hosts Lachie Strathmore (’15) and Scott Montgomery (’85) sit down with James Rook (’15).

James Rook (’15) has been heavily involved in rowing, having recently competed in the Tokyo Olympics as the Cox of the Australian Women’s VIII. In this episode, we explore James’ journey from the 3rd VIII at Scotch to representing Australia at the Olympics, and becoming the first male to cox the Australian Women’s VIII. We hear from James about the transition to elite level rowing, the impact of COVID-19 on his Olympic preparation, and his experiences from Tokyo. An incredible episode with some great insight into the power of resilience and determination in the path to success.
