| The Scotch College community mourns the death of Bruce Lithgow (46), a great contributor to the School, the School Council, the Scotch College Foundation and to the Old Scotch Collegians Association (OSCA). Bruces passion for, and commitment to, Scotch was life-long and it is undeniable that few, if indeed any, have done more for both the school and for OSCA. He became the assistant secretary of OSCA on leaving school in 1946 and then spent 21 years as secretary from 1953 until 1973. He was president of OSCA in 1980 and was awarded honorary life membership. |
