Hi, I’m Graham Bradbeer. I’m a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria and have been Chaplain at Scotch College since 1984.

Scotch College exists because of the Christian vision and energy of the Reverend James Forbes who sought to serve the needs of the fledgling city of Melbourne. For over 150 years many people have contributed to support that primary initiative.

My work as Chaplain has meant advocating, supporting and developing that Christian core of service within the school and the Scotch community.

This has enabled me to interact with boys and their families and meet people at many different stages of their personal journey and in their association with Scotch. It is more than enough work for one person, and the Rev Grant Watson, Assistant to the Chaplain, is also directly involved in chaplaincy role at Scotch, as is Mr. Andrew Strempel in the Junior School.

These pages are intended to help you understand better and increasingly benefit from the Christian ministry of your school as well as provide an opportunity for you to contribute to this core activity of Scotch College.

Faithful Marriage
- Perhaps you have visited this page because you are interested in a Wedding in the Littlejohn Memorial Chapel? The Littlejohn Chapel is a lovely place for a wedding, but it is not available to the general public nor on Sundays. Old Boys of the school and the daughters of Old Boys are eligible. They will be aware that the services conducted in the chapel are in accord with the usage of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria so that only a Christian wedding service is offered.

Faith Shared
- You may wish to support the Christian ministry of the school. You will recall the regular Assembly in the Memorial Hall and occasional Chapel services. Is there anything in the School calendar to keep the wider Scotch community in touch with their faith? Find out how you can be involved here.
