The McLeod Club (Parent Support Group for cricket) is compiling a list of all cricketers who have represented the School's 1st XI. To date we have identified hundreds of names and they are listed chronologically here. Please check the list of Cricket Team and Cricket Captain names and see if we have covered everyone from your era. The aim is to capture the names of all players, not just regular members of the team. You could have information that is vital to the success of this project. The first team took to the field in 1858 with inaugural captain James Macpherson. Following in his footsteps each player will be proud to know where he enters the cricket honour roll at Scotch. It is the player's first appearance that is important. Many players were selected in more than one season. If you know of someone or something that may lead us to our goal we would appreciate your help. Please email details to Jim Mitchell. Time is of the essence as verification can be a slow and arduous process. The McLeod Club proposes a special function late next year to announce the register.
