John Simpson is a Director of Shell Australia Limited and Shell Energy Holdings (Australia) Limited. He is head of External Affairs for Shell Companies in Australia and has a regional role supporting Shell's Oil Products businesses throughout Asia - Pacific. John has had both a national and international career with Shell, working in Shell International (London) in the mid-90s for three years.
JOHN SIMPSON

John is well known in business as a forthright speaker and commentator on issues relating to leadership, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and globalisation. He is a regular contributor to fora convened by the BCA, the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs, the Institute of International Affairs and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

John has a Degree in English & Politics from the University of Melbourne. He is a Director of the National Maritime Museum and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, in addition to being a member of the Council of Scotch. John is married to Cathy and they have three sons who are in Years 4, 7 and 9 at Scotch.
