 What they are doing now!

Tony Pickering (as at 2003)

Tony Pickering (’57) now lives and works in Darwin. He is a Director of KG Young & Associates Real Estate.

With is wife Jude, Tony has four children – Ben Sam, Kate and Anna. When asked for a photo, he declined, citing that he doesn’t think anybody would recognise him these days due to “gravity” taking over. We expect he means that his facial features are nearing the ground – we know it’s hot in Darwin, but hot enough to melt your face?

Tony is very active in the community. He is a committee member of the Carbine Club Northern Territory, supporting many causes, particularly in promoting and fostering the development of sport in the Northern Territory. He is a member of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust of Australia Selection Committee, and a committee member of the Northern Territory Branch of the National Trust of Australia.

Most importantly though, he is President of the Darwin Branch of the Old Scotch Collegians’ Association, so if you are spending time in Darwin, you might be interested in touching base with the local Scotch community.
